REGULATION
Art. 1 PRESENTATION
La Casa delle Arti, association of social promotion in collaboration with the municipality of Gorizia, from 5th to 8th November 2020 holds the third International Young Talents Music Competition - City of Gorizia reserved for young performers of both sexes and all nationalities .
The competition is open to young musicians up to 22 years of age.
The competition, which aims to promote and popularize musical art, also aims to be an important opportunity for the growth and maturation of young artists through experiences of encounter and comparison between different schools and cultures.

Art. 2 PLACE AND DATES
The competition is public and will take place at Palazzo De Grazia in Gorizia from 5th to 8th november 2020.
Art.3 APPLICATIONS FOR ADMISSION
Registration applications must be received by 25/11/2020.
Enrollment applications must be accompanied, under penalty of exclusion from the competition, by the following attachments:
1. Application for admission, using the form attached to the brochure or downloaded from the competition website.
2. Copy of a valid identity document.
3. Copy of the receipt of payment of the registration fee for the chosen category (s).
The payment of the registration fees must be made:
by bank transfer to the current account in the Casa delle Arti at Cassa Rurale del FVG - IBAN: IT53L0862212403008000001837– BIC: CCRTIT2T96A
Please indicate, as reason for the payment, the following wording: name of the competitor / group, category of registration plus "3rd Young Talent Competition".
Each competitor has the opportunity to register in multiple categories. In this case he will have to repeat the registration and pay the relative fee for each category in which he intends to participate.

Art. 4 SECTIONS AND CATEGORIES
Section 1 Soloists (piano - strings - Celtic and classical harp - classical, acoustic and electric guitar, lyric and modern singing - wind instruments - accordion - percussion)
Categories A, B, C, D, E
Section 2 Chamber Music and Choral Formations (from the duo to the ensemble of any number and formation)
Categories A, B, C, D, E

Category A: for those born in 2010 onwards - Free choice program lasting a maximum of 5 minutes
Category B: for those born in 2007 onwards - Free choice program lasting up to 8 minutes
Category C: for those born in 2004 onwards - Free choice program lasting up to 10 minutes
Category D: for those born in 2001 onwards - Choice program with a maximum duration of 12 minutes
Category E: for those born in 1998 onwards - Choice of program with a maximum duration of 15 minutes

Section 3 Middle Schools with musical address
● Cat. A: Soloists of all instruments - First Class: Free program with a maximum duration of 3 minutes
● Cat. B: Soloists of all instruments - Second Class: Free program with a maximum duration of 5 minutes
● Cat. C: Soloists of all instruments - Third Class: Free program lasting up to 7 minutes
● Cat. D: Chamber Music and Choral Formations: Free program with a maximum duration of 10 minutes

Competitors can enroll in a higher category if they believe that their preparation allows it, but not in a lower category.
For all the categories of section II (chamber music and choral ensembles) the average age of the members of the group will be considered.

Art. 5 - AUTHORIZATIONS
The competitors, by sending the registration form, authorize the Casa delle Arti association:
1. to be photographed and to make audio and / or video recordings of their own competition hearings and of any performance during the winners' concert, expressly renouncing any rights, including economic rights, relating to said photographs and / or audio recordings -visive;
2. to a possible disclosure and use, with any means or support, of their image and their performances taken in the contexts indicated above.
Participants will not be able to make any economic or other claims for performances performed during the winners' concerts.

Art. 6 REGISTRATION FEES
Section The Soloists
Category A, B, C, D, E Euro 25.00
Section II Chamber music and choral ensembles
Categories A, B, C, D, E Euro 15.00 for each component

Special section for middle schools with musical address
Cat. A, B, C Euro 15.00
Cat. D Euro 10,00 for each component
Failure to participate does not imply the return of the registration fee. The organization reserves the right to block registrations if the maximum number of registrations is reached and also reserves the right to abolish one or more categories if the minimum number of members is not reached. In this case the registration fee will be refunded.
If required, the competitors must present themselves to the Competition with their own pianist / guitarist or they can use the pianist made available by the organization of the Competition; in this case, a further contribution of € 20.00 must be paid to be paid upon registration and send a copy of the scores in pdf format to the email address of the competition by March 20, 2020.

Art. 7 PROGRAM
The program is free for all categories. Before execution, in order not to incur a penalty on the evaluation, each competitor is required to submit two copies of the pieces in the program to the commission. A final performance is not required for the award-winning competitors with the exception of the first absolute which will perform during the final concert on November 8, 2020 at 20.00 in the concert hall of Palazzo De Grazia in Gorizia.

Art. 8 CALENDAR
The auditions calendar will be published online by  october 30, 2020 at: www.casadellearti.ue / auditions
All auditions will be public with free entry and will take place in the halls of Palazzo De Grazia located in via Oberdan 15 in Gorizia. Each competitor is required to show up at Palazzo De Grazia at least 30 minutes before the time set for the performance.

Art. 9 EVALUATION The execution test is unique; the evaluation of the competitors is expressed in cents and will be based on the average of the marks assigned by each individual member of the Commission. criteria:
● First place: vote from 96 to 100/100;
● Second place: vote from 90 to 95;
● Third place: vote from 80 to 89.
The competitor who achieves the best score among the first classified (96-100) will be the winner of the absolute first prize.

Art. 10 PRIZES AND SCHOLARSHIPS
The results will be communicated at the end of the auditions of each category, followed by the delivery of the prizes, with the exception of the absolute first prizes. The scores will then be fully published on the competition website at: www.casadellearti.eu/risultati
The first absolute prizes will be delivered during the final concert of the winners of the first absolute prizes which will take place on Sunday 8 November at 20.00 in the concert hall of Palazzo De Grazia in Gorizia. The concert will be free entry.
In addition to the winners, the commission reserves the right to participate in the final concert also other participants who have distinguished themselves during the selections.

Special Section for Middle Schools with musical address

Special Music School Media Award
At the Middle School with musical address with the highest score (adding the scores of their students) voucher worth 200 Euros for the purchase of musical material.

Special prize "Count Guglielmo Coronini".
The jury will decide, at the end of the concert of the winners of the absolute prizes of the categories of the I soloists and II Chamber Music categories, scheduled for April 19, 2020, the absolute winner of the 3rd "Young Talents" Competition in the city of Gorizia. The winner will be invited  to hold a concert in the summer program of the prestigious "Villa Coronini-Kromberg" in Gorizia and on this occasion he will receive a plaque and a cash prize of € 300.00.

Special prize "Germano Milosa"
Among the winners of the first absolute prizes of the I Soloists and II Chamber Music categories A and B, at the end of the concert scheduled for November 8, 2020, the jury will award the special prize "Germano Milosa" to the musician, or to the group, which has demonstrated greater musicality, expressiveness and talent.
The prize consists of a plaque and a cash prize of € 300.00; in addition, the winner will be invited  to open the concert of the winner of the special prize "Conte Guglielmo Coronini".
At the end of each day of the competition there will be the awards of the categories carried out with times to be established.
All solo competitors will receive a certificate of participation.
Art. 11 JURY
The jury, whose judgments are unquestionable and unappealable, will be made up of well-known musicians. Jury members will not be able to express their evaluation towards competitors with whom they have didactic or kinship relationships.
The verdict and all the jury's decisions are final and unappealable.
The jury reserves the right not to award any prize if it deems the artistic level of the performances inadequate, or to award prizes ex-aequo on the basis of coinciding evaluations. The ex-aequo prizes will be divided among the winners.

Art. 12 - The Organization reserves the right to make any changes to these regulations, which will be promptly reported to the internet address: www.casadellearti.eu

Art. 13 - PRIVACY NOTICE
Pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003 "Personal data protection code", we inform you that your personal and non-personal data provided when registering for this Competition (hereinafter also referred to as "event") will be used. for the following purposes: a) purposes related to registration, management and participation in the event; b) sending informative material by e-mail on the initiatives promoted by the writer "Casa delle Arti". The provision of data for point a) of this information is mandatory and the failure or partial communication of the same may make it impossible, in whole or in part, to guarantee the participation of the competitor in the Event. Art. 14 - Admission to the competition takes place once the validity and conformity of the documents and information requested by the Organizing Committee has been ascertained.
By signing the application form, each candidate undertakes to accept these regulations and to renounce all rights relating to any audiovisual recordings and shots as specified in art. 5.

Art. 15 - The Forum of Gorizia will prevail for any controversy.
